The great white shark is one of the deadliest creatures on the planet – and that’s why Michael decided to paint it on this shipwrecked style board. We hand-cut the edges to give the impression that the shark had crossed paths with it, and sanded the edges and exterior of the board to give it a distressed look. To represent the mystery, colours and power of the sea we used dark blue acrylic paint. We used blood red for ‘Fishing’ to show the danger of this magnificent fish. We used a polypropylene hanging rope you could find on a worn-out boat in the middle of the ocean near the infamous Amity Island, polished off with a gold brass hook for hanging up. This unique piece is perfect for the wall of a fish & chip shop or restaurant specialising in fresh fish.
